Dear members of the Montreal Section,

In collaboration with the National Film Board Club, Federal Retirees, Montreal Section is pleased to invite you to a conference (will be held solely in French) on the theme: La traversée: A story of love, stroke and caregiving, presented by Julie Desroches and Simon Parisien.

Simon and Julie were in their early forties, and had been a couple for twenty years, when their lives turned upside down. Simon suffered a stroke at the age of 44, and his accident threw them into a tsunami that made them lose all their bearings. They wrote a book entitled La Traversée. At their conference, they tell us their story with humor and tenderness.
